Emcee on the Radio!

25 Jun

Ryan Anning, one of the delightful emcees from our upcoming production of Love is a Poverty You Can Sell 2: Kisses for a Pfennig and a close personal friend of Soup Can Theatre, sat down with the hosts of Radio Regent’s ‘Stage Left’ to chat about his colourful part in our cabaret spectacle – and while battling a nasty cold no less. In case you missed it live, here it is again for your listening pleasure! Many thanks to MC and Yehuda for the interview!

The First Review is In!

I know we all have to pick our battles when it comes to how we spend our time and money – and up to now you’ve just had to trust us when we say our production is worth both – but don’t don’t take our word for it, check out what reviewer Leslie Barcza has to say:

Bravo for the Brilliant PairingMakes a Powerful ImpressionIf this is Hell, I like it.

Tonight’s the Night!

27 Mar

Yup, our unique double bill of Samuel Barber’s A Hand of Bridge and Jean Paul Sartre’s No Exit opens tonight! If a skilled and vibrant cast, a live fourteen piece orchestra, and an ‘in the round’ performance on a custom built stage weren’t enough reason to come, then how about…

… The fact that our production is an editor’s pick in both Torontoist AND BlogTO

… This thoughtful interview cast members Tennille Read (No Exit) and Keith O’Brien (A Hand of Bridge) did with Regent Radio’s Tien Providence …

… Our mascot “Bertram”. Wondering what, or even why he is? You’ll just have to come to the show and find out!

Bertram
